Many owners worry about how their dog or horse will behave during a photoshoot. Perhaps your dog won’t sit still, needs to stay on a lead, or your horse isn’t used to being photographed. Some people even feel awkward being in front of the camera themselves.

With years of experience photographing animals of every temperament, I guide each session with patience, calm energy and expertise, so you and your animals feel completely at ease.

If needed, sessions can be rescheduled for a day when your horse or dog feels most comfortable. You’ll also have a private viewing appointment, ensuring you select only the images you truly love.

  • Not at all! I work patiently and gently, guiding them with calm energy. We take breaks, play, and let them show their personality naturally.

  • Every horse is different, so I take time to observe and understand their personality before the shoot. We follow their natural movements and comfort level, capturing their unique character — no forcing or posing required.

  • Completely! Many clients prefer to focus on their animals, and I guide you subtly so you feel relaxed. Your natural interactions are what make the images special. You don’t need to worry about looking awkward.

Hello and welcome to TMS Photography. I’m Tracey, a Derbyshire-based photographer with a love for the great outdoors, horses, dogs, and the freedom of running my own business. My work takes me far and wide, and every photography adventure feels like a privilege.
