Photographs hold immense value in our lives. They capture fleeting moments, freezing them in time and allowing us to relive cherished memories. Photographs evoke deep emotions and nostalgia. They are precious treasures that remind us of who we are making them invaluable in preserving our legacies.
Hello, I’m Tracey — your equine and dog photographer
Based in Derbyshire, travelling across the UK
I believe that the bond you share with your horse or dog is one of the greatest loves of your life and it deserves to be photographed with meaning, care and soul.
I don’t just take pictures.
I listen.
I watch.
I wait for the moment their ears flick toward you… the moment they lean into your hand… the moment you exhale and realise this is everything you always wanted to remember.
My style is warm, natural and timeless mixing fine art portraiture with storytelling moments that feel real and effortless.
Whether you dream of framed artwork above your fireplace, or a fine art album filled with moments that make you smile every time you open it I create artwork that feels like you.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t even need to be in the photos if you don’t want to.
You just need to love your animal and I’ll take care of the rest.

About me
Hi there and welcome……………
And I'm hazarding a guess here but you may just be considering having a photoshoot with your four legged bestie (it certainly doesn't have to be a horse or a dog, it could your prized sheep or cows maybe a chicken or two? Or perhaps your a business owner in need of some updated, fun brand imagery? I can of course help you here? I'm a photographer who specialises in these areas and love my job immensely.
I'm live in an old mining town of Swadlincote which is in Derbyshire but I travel throughout the UK with private client commissions and rural work. I owned a horse called Ollie and he was a huge part of my life for the past 13 years and he was a bit of a dude standing at 17HH. He was a grey Irish Draught who had a heart of gold but can be quite characterful. We used to do a little Dressage. He loved jumping, I don't but I used to a long time ago. I also have a Lagotto called Luca who likes to keep me fit and active with long walks and adventures.
So with me being so into horses, dogs and rural life, I couldn't have chosen a better career than being a full time horse/dog photographer. Creating memories that one day become so precious means the absolute world to me. I just love telling the untold story where time stops for that split second and there it is, a moment captured, that shows the true bond, connection and personality which when you think about it and see it in all its finery, is utterly priceless. There you have it, the reason WHY I love my job. The clients I get to meet along the way are just pretty awesome too! Not forgetting all the cuddles I receive from all the gorgeous puppies, dogs and soft little nudges from horses and ponies. For a horse and dog lover, it is the best thing since sliced bread! Living the best life, great adventures and preserving memories!!

What People Are Saying
“Tracey was a complete professional from start to finish. We first talked over some ideas of location and concept. She was so positive and enthusiastic, I knew this photoshoot would be so much fun. She was punctual and put me at ease immediately. Because Tracey knows about horses, she was able to set up some really interesting shots and helped me pose to get the most out Bella’s alertness. She was patient with us as we rearranged skirts and danced on the spot. I’m absolutely thrilled with my photos and had to treat myself to a print which is pride of place in my front room. I can’t wait to have her photograph us again!” — Kaitlyn & Bella
“Tracey has done a photoshoot of my dog and horse and both were simply amazing. She was so friendly and really put me at ease during the shoots. There was no pressure to pose, particularly for the dog shoot, we just went for a little walk and therefore got some really beautiful natural shots which are now some of my most treasured keepsakes. I love the online gallery as I could look at the photos at my leisure to decide which to purchase and keep coming back to them in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to others, thank you so much again!” — Nickie & Rhayea
“TMS Photography gave us a wonderful photoshoot, with two very awkward models! We were put at ease from the get-go, as Tracey joined us on our early morning walk. She wasn't afraid to woof, howl or crawl through the leaves to get those shots, and the results were stunning - a perfect autumnal gallery.
Tracey was friendly and professional, and the shoot was fun and informal. I see a lot of people wanting to support small, independent, local businesses this year, and this one comes highly recommended - you won't be disappointed!” — Rebecca, Badger & Riley
