What we need

TMS Photography will be the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We collect basic personal data about you including name, address, email, telephone number and where applicable alternative addresses.

Why we collect your data

We need your basic personal data in order to provide you with information about photography services in accordance with our contract. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

What we do with your data

All the personal data we hold is controlled by TMS Photography based in the UK however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union and US.  Your personal information is kept private and stored securely via our data processor, the Studio Ninja log system, until a time it is no longer required or has no use.

External Website Links & Third Parties

Although we only aim to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links (You Tube, Vimeo, venue or supplier sites) as and when and if they are mentioned on this website.

We cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite our best efforts. Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and we cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. More information on this can be found on our website – User Agreement (located at the footer of the website).

How long we keep your data

We keep your images for the length of time agreed upon in our contract with you, after which time they will be deleted. Your information will be kept with us for accounting purposes for a period of 7 years under legitimate interest.  Other details will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. Any information sent will only be relevant to the services you have booked. 

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact Tracey Smith at [email protected] or [email protected] who will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
