Equine & Dog Portrait Commissions

Natural, emotive portrait experiences designed to become timeless artwork for your home.

Each commission is carefully created around your horse or dog in a relaxed outdoor setting, capturing character, connection and quiet moments that feel honest and enduring.

These are not rushed photoshoots or standard sessions, they are commissioned portrait experiences, created with intention from start to finish. There’s no pressure and no awkward posing, just gentle direction when needed and space for real moments to unfold.

The Signature Portrait Experience — £495

Includes:

A relaxed, personal portrait experience celebrating the unique connection you share with your horse or dog, finished with beautiful artwork to enjoy in your home.

  • A pre-session consultation

  • A bespoke portrait session

  • Professional editing of your images

  • A private viewing appointment

  • Your choice of a 16-inch framed fine art portrait or a luxury folio box of 10 fine art matted prints

Every detail is thoughtfully considered, from your photoshoot to the finished artwork you choose to bring home. Your portraits are created to be enjoyed for years to come, whether displayed as a statement piece or treasured as a collection of beautiful prints.

If you'd love to create something more extensive, additional artwork and collections are available to choose from at your viewing appointment.

Whether you love the idea of a statement piece on your wall or a collection of photographs you can enjoy and rotate around your home, you can choose the option that feels right for you.

Every piece is carefully crafted with quality and longevity in mind, creating something meaningful to treasure for years to come.

Additional artwork is also available if you'd love to create a larger collection of portraits.

After your session

A few weeks after your photoshoot, you'll be invited to your private viewing appointment, where you'll see your photographs for the first time.

I'll guide you through your images and help you choose the photographs and finished artwork that mean the most to you. There's no need to make those decisions before your session. You'll have time to enjoy your images and explore the options available.

If you'd like to add further framed portraits, prints or other artwork to your included piece, you can do so at your viewing appointment. Every collection is personal, so you can choose what feels right for you and your home.

Flexible payment options

I want you to feel comfortable choosing the artwork that's right for you. Flexible payment options are available, so if you'd prefer to spread the cost, please get in touch and we can talk through what's possible.

A note on availability

I take on a limited number of portrait commissions each month to give every client the time, care and personal attention their experience deserves.

  • No, your artwork is designed after your session during your private viewing appointment once you can see your images.

  • That’s completely fine and expected. Some of the most meaningful images come from natural, unplanned moments.

  • You’ll be invited to a private viewing where your images are revealed and your artwork is carefully designed with you.

  • Your Signature Portrait Experience includes your choice of a 16-inch framed fine art portrait or a luxury folio box of 10 fine art matted prints.

    After viewing their photographs, many clients choose to invest in additional artwork and digital images, allowing them to enjoy even more of the moments captured during their session.

    Additional purchases typically range from £500 to £2,000, depending on the images and artwork selected. There's no obligation to purchase anything further, and you can choose the options that feel right for you and your home.

  • Yes. I am happy to travel throughout the UK for portrait commissions.

    Your commission includes travel within a 50-mile radius of Swadlincote (DE11) covering most local equine and rural locations.

    For commissions further afield (over 2 hours drive from my location), a travel fee of £150 is applied to cover additional time and travel costs. This is confirmed at the time of booking so everything is clear and agreed in advance.

    I regularly work across the Midlands and am very happy to travel for the right commission and location.
