Equine Photography in East Staffordshire: A Late Spring Morning with Georgina & Chester

There’s something truly special about capturing the bond between a horse and its rider, and my second photoshoot with Georgina and her horse Chester was no exception. On this late spring morning, the soft natural light perfectly complemented the exquisite grounds Georgina has at her property, creating ideal backdrops for equine photography.

For this session, Georgina chose two outfits. She began with a casual set of a riding top and tights, perfect for relaxed, natural shots with Chester. Later, she changed into a gorgeous navy jumper with frilly white blouse, paired with fitted jeans and elegant black Fairfax & Favour boots adding a polished, editorial touch to the shoot.

We explored two different locations during the session. The first overlooked the nearest town towards Burton on Trent, providing sweeping views and atmosphere. The second location was a woodland area, which was simply breathtaking and perfectly complemented Georgina’s navy outfit.

Watching Georgina and Chester together is a joy, their connection is evident in every interaction. From hunting horse to show jumper, Chester’s personality shines, and capturing that unique bond is always a highlight of my sessions.

Although this session is nearly five years old, the images remain timeless. Sharing them now is a wonderful reminder of the lasting relationships and stories that equine photography preserves.

Every horse has a story, and every rider has a bond worth capturing. If you’d like to create lasting memories like Georgina and Chester, I’d love to hear from you and let’s plan your session.
