Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Your Session

Every session is designed to be relaxed, personal and meaningful. Whether you’re booking a photoshoot for your horse, dog, or family in a rural setting, I guide you through each step to create timeless, heirloom-quality artwork for your home. Below are answers to the questions clients most often ask.

Before the Session

  • You can book online or get in touch directly. I’ll confirm your date, discuss your ideas and start planning a session tailored to your animal or family.

  • The consultation call is a relaxed, personal conversation to understand your goals. We’ll talk about your animals’ personalities, the style of images you love, locations and outfits. It ensures your session is tailored, stress-free and completely personal.

  • Every animal has its own personality. I observe and guide them patiently. Dogs are gently encouraged, horses are followed at their pace and your comfort is always considered. The goal is relaxed, natural images that capture personality — not perfection.

  • I provide guidance on wardrobe and props that will complement your environment and the style of portraits. Nothing rigid — we keep it natural and authentic.

  • Ideally, 4–6 weeks ahead but I always try to accommodate clients’ schedules whenever possible. Some clients prefer to book several months in advance.

During Your Session

  • Sessions typically last 1–2 hours, depending on your animals’ needs. Time is flexible though as the focus is always on their comfort and capturing genuine moments.
